Porcelain Puka Lei — Hand-Sculpted Wearable Art
A hand-sculpted porcelain puka lei inspired by Mediterranean talismans and ancient Polynesian adornment. Each bead and puka shape is individually crafted by hand from frost porcelain, finished with a shell pink glaze on raw edges and a 22k gold bead accent. Strung on lilac linen and raw leather cord with a self square knot tie.
Lightweight, durable, and beautiful layered or worn alone.
This piece is the origin of it all — born from years of textile, ceramic, and sculptural wearable art, beginning with a silk ti leaf lei and evolving into this. A prayer of time and erosion made wearable. Each strand crafted over many hours in devotion.
